So Much to Do and so Little Time-What’s on in Richmond the School Holidays?

If your kids start moaning that they are bored with the holidays, then just pause for a moment and think about where we are lucky enough to call our home. New South Wales is such a beautiful state, packed with wildlife, theme parks, culture, water parks, amazing cities and the great outdoors.

Explore Our Iconic Experiences

One of the most iconic landmarks must be Sydney Opera House, or how about Luna Park? Don’t forget about the Jenolan Caves and the fantastic Blue Mountains. These mountains are considered one of the most iconic natural wonders in the country and they make a great family day out. Is the autumn weather still feeling a bit too warm for you? Cooldown in Jamberoo Water Park or Wet n Wild.

Meet the Local Wildlife

If your children are animal lovers, the Australian Shark and Ray Centre is an absolute must. Other excellent places for children to view our wonderful wildlife close-up include Featheredale Wildlife Park to see the koalas, kangaroos and other small mammals. We absolutely must mention the Taronga Zoo!

These are just a few of the many places you could visit. The school holidays are an excellent chance to be thankful for where we live and perhaps to introduce your kids to all the places you used to love when you were their age.
